ABOUT US
WHO WE ARE, WHAT WE BELIEVE & WHAT WE DO
ABOUT US:
Our Focus:
VisionScape is a Minneapolis-based hardscape and drainage contractor led by founder Dan Kulus. With over 10 years of experience in the landscape construction industry, Dan has managed and delivered hundreds of substantial outdoor projects across the Twin Cities.
Our work focuses on structural hardscape and water management — including paver patios, retaining walls, landscape bed renovations, grading, and drainage systems. These are projects where proper excavation, base preparation, and long-term performance matter.
What We Do
We specialize in mid- to large-scale residential outdoor construction, typically ranging from $15,000 to $100,000. Our scope often includes:
Full backyard transformations
Structural retaining walls
Engineered drainage solutions
Comprehensive grading and site preparation
Paver patio installation built for long-term durability
Our work is designed to perform in Minnesota’s climate, accounting for frost depth, soil movement, and water management.
How We Operate
VisionScape operates with three core standards:
Excellence.
Projects are built with proper excavation depth, compacted base material, and attention to structural detail. We prioritize longevity over shortcuts.
Integrity.
Clients receive honest assessments, realistic scopes, and transparent pricing. If site conditions require additional work to protect long-term performance, we address it directly.
Communication.
Construction requires coordination. We provide clear timelines, defined scopes, and consistent updates throughout the project.
Leadership
Dan remains directly involved in project oversight, ensuring that site preparation, drainage strategy, and structural details meet company standards. Our crew operates with discipline, maintains organized job sites, and executes with professionalism.
VisionScape is built for homeowners who are making a significant investment in their property and expect the work to be done correctly.
If you are planning a serious outdoor project and value competence, accountability, and structure, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss it.
